The aggression against Xuban Nafarrate unpunished

Ertzaintza using rubber balls
According to Berria, the court of Gasteiz (Araba south basque country) have decided to not continue with the denounce that Xuban Nafarrate placed against Ertzaintza (Basque regional police).

The March 29 2012, during a general strike in south basque country, Xuban Nafarrate was seriously injured by a rubber ball (Ertzaintza use that arms against people). The rubber ball hit Xuban Nafarrate on his head and he lost consciousness. Besides, when his friends tried to help him, they were beaten by Ertzaintza with batons (and they also put leaflets of general strike in Xuban's mouth). After he was taken to hospital to operate on the head. Some weeks after that case, Iñigo Cabacas was killed by Ertzaintza when they used rubber balls in the streets of Bilbo (Bizkaia south basque country).

According to the court, Xuban Nafarrate was not wounded by a rubber ball. They have said that Xuban was wounded when he was escaping of Ertzaintza during the riots of general strike. Although there is a video where we can see Xuban wounded by a rubber ball. In addition, Xuban and another two friends are going to be judged accused of disobedience.
